I have been meaning to get a kitten in my house. I mean, who can resist a kitten? Even the hardest of hearts can melt looking at a cutesy kitten. Forgive me for sounding so mushy, but I have been really meaning to get a kitten. I will name the kitten 'kit-kat." Typical I know, but come on, it would be cool to have "kit kat" at home and I would be shouting out "KIT KAAAAT! COME GET YOUR FOOD....KITT-EEE KAAAAAT.....PURR PURR PURRRR"
I could have chosen to get a puppy, but some people will not he happy with that decision and I will have to lock the puppy up when those certain people come, or I could choose to not have those people over! Anyways, I don't want dog poop all over my house.
So what's holding me back from getting a kitten? My new leather sofa! I don't want scratches on it. Sure I can get a scratching post, but there is no guarantee that post will save my sofas. Plus, I will be out of the house all day long; will it be safe to leave a kitten at home alone? I will have to leave the AC on the whole time as well (When you live on a budget, things like AC matter!)
On top of that, I will have to bear other expenses as well, cat food, cat litter box, milk, and unexpected medical expenses like neutering and all. Gosh, I really want a kitten. I figured, if I can't get a wife, I might as well get a kitten! Lol!
