Has anyone made the switch over to the new version of the blogger? I am trying so hard to move there, but somehow it's not letting me move. Maybe my two blogs are too massive. I am excited by the new version.
On a personal front, I have some exciting news. I will be moving to Dubai next month. I have given my final notice to my landlord in Sharjah, and so I will be leaving my apartment here in Sharjah on 15th January 2007. It will be exactly two years for me here. So I am indeed very excited to move to Dubai now.
More exciting news later.

Yes, i moved over about 2 months ago, and the new blogger has some nice features.
I've heard that rent in Dubai is sky-high and that you are normally asked to pay the entire year's rent up front. Is that what you're going to have to do?
Well, the apartment I have now has been bought. They are in International City, and not too expensive. Some companies in Dubai ask for lump sum payment, others ask for cheques on a quartlerly basis. The apartment I was in before asked for cash for 1st quarter, followed by three cheques at time of contract renewal. Yes, rents in Dubai have skyrocketed. But, like I said, the apartment I have now has been bought, so I will not have to pay rent any more. Thank God!
