Fox News-- Forget It!

Hello friends,

While watching the news today, I was furious at Fox News. I just can’t believe how the newscaster on Fox always cut in the people they bring in to talk. These guests, who are Muslims and Arabs, are always cut in, their comments not seriously taken. I just get so riled up and so angry. Someone once said watching Fox News made their blood boil. Well, I also have that same feeling. It was a program called Heartland with Kascich. I was watching this because the host was claiming that while the Pew poll show that support for bin Laden has been dropped dramatically, there are still pockets of people who support and justify suicide bombings: 24% in Indonesia, 30% in Pakistan and 80% in Jordan. The guests were trying to explain the reasons, all the while being cut off from the host as well as getting “yeah, yeah” kind of comments.

The host was dumbstruck at why there are suicide bombings. One of the guest tried to explain about what the US are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan and the host just started to change the topic and tried to carry on with something else. Just when these guests were coming onto something close to exposing the flawed US foreign policy, we get “sorry, that’s all the time we have for now!” from the host. I am not watching Fox News anymore and don’t even get me started on Bill O’Reilly who I nominate as the nastiest host on news, who merely twists other people’s words!

So much for the freedom of press; so much for the freedom of speech!

Why were you watching it in the first place?!? By watching you increase ratings!!!
Muslims and Arabs with any pride and dignity wouldn't be caught dead on that news channel!!!

I know I wasnt supposed to be watching it. But I was channel surfing and he was talking about this new poll, and so that caught my interest. I was disgusted by that particular program.!

Right, they want the guests to say what the host wants them to say....and sometimes when the guests are winning the debate, the host always butts in and says "thats all the time we have!!"

Dude this is so much better.

I was thinking of doing a screen capture of what your blog looked like on my laptop and then sending it to you. It was really bad before.

No, I was not happy with my blue one as well. You see on my macintosh powerbook, that blue thing was not coming up properly and I could understand what Kashif and Muscati were talking about.....I could not even read my posts!!

I am kind of happier with this basic blog template. I am so sick of looking for a decent one, and I am lazy to host the cool on some other servers. I have asked my brother who is into HTML language and all to help me out.

The new thing I want to do is post videos...but I don't know how??? :(

PS To make up to those who liked the blue color, there is a touch of blue here on my new template...and I put another picture of mine!! Happy happy joy joy!!
