Hey everyone,
These last few weeks have been a crazy one. I did not think my articles would rouse everyone's feathers out there. I think it all started with my article on love.
* I still believe that for someone to display one's love fully, one needs to reach to that point where one is ready to spend his life. That to me is safcrificial love. I know of one person in my life who I know would be ready to give up his life for me. That is how much he loves me. (remember, it is a non-sexual, platonic kind of love!)
* The article on the black abayas and white thobes was another interesting debate. Still, there are no clear answers, but I came with the conclusion that since is transparent in many ways, especially in the daylight, it was thought that women should be covered black since that will not show anything.
* The Music and Islam article was another hard-hitting one, still with no clear answers. Some people gave me rulings from the Hadiths, saying that music is permissible, yet others are saying it is not. Since there are so many different sects, rulings and scholars of Islam all over the world, everyone will think their ruling is the absolute truth. I think the answer for this issue is to analyze one own's faith, and make a judgment of what is suitable for you. The key thing is that music should not interfere with your music nor with your focus on God, and music should be such that goes againt the teachings of your beliefs.
* Blogger Reviewers wrote to me saying they would want me to write for English publishing magazines in the Middle East. Since my university years, I have been told time and again from so many professors that I should consider journalism. Maybe it is something I can do on my free time to supplement my income.
* I have a need to change my weblog address. I will let you all know individually what my new weblog address is. I need to move on from some of the people who have been accusing me falsely.

hey i dont think u should change ure address...dont listen to these ppl...u know what is rite and what is wrong and we support u and r there for u...u know that....ne ways changing ure blog address wont really help in the long run....there r stupid ppl everywhere....so let it be...and pity these ppl for their restricted thinking and sad view of life and this world...

hey guys,
after thinking about it last night, I have decided to stay the way I am. I realized it would be a difficult thing for me to change my blog address and ask you all to change the bookmarks as well. So thanks for your support and encouragement, I will stay! I am so excited that there are people like you who want me to continue.
People with restricted views and restricted thinking are everywhere. It is these kind of people who annoy me, probably because I think naively in the year 2005, there wouldn't be any person alive on the internet who would think like the Flintstones: pre-historically!
