Finally....Cinemas in Saudi!

CINEMAS TO OPEN IN SAUDI ARABIA!

This piece of news excited me. I Look forward to that day when cinema halls will be up in the Kingdom. Although I also know that the movies will be heavily censored, and that entering the cinema, everyone will be segregated. Women and men will not sit together. Certain movies will not be allowed like Bruce Almighty and The Passion of the Christ!

But its still cool that the idea of cinemas, all six of them, have been brought to the table. I know the Kingdom were upset when the TV was introduced. They were upset with the issue of camera phone, which were eventually allowed. The internet was introduced in the 90s, when the world was connected. Satellite dishes were banned but they cropped up everywhere. The introduction of the cinema is long overdue.

If anything, at least it will keep the young men and women from wasting their time in shopping malls checking one another out!
