On saturday, my cousins and I went to Madinat Jumeirah. I am a big fan and we all ended up having dinner at The Meat Co. I cannot even begin to tell you what a great place this was! Its a steakhouse, and although it is not a very popular restaurant, it certainly was an amazing one. My cousins took the New Yorker, 500g, steak, well done. I took the Petite Fillet, well done. My steak was just soooo juicy and so tender. The accompanying mashed potatos were so amazing as well! I could not even think back of when I had a better steak before! I mean, mere words cannot do justice here. You have to go to this restaurant to believe me!

i really wanted to go to this place when i was over in december but didnt get the time....but i did go to the irani restraunt near this one...cant rem the name....i went at night and cause it was december...we sat outside...next to the canal....it was an amzing experience...and the food was really good too..

The iranian restaurant is called Anar. We almost went there, but then thought the steak would be more fulfilling!

I am planning a trip to Dubai with my fiance, and am considering going to Anar.
Is the setting romantic at all?
Madinat Jumeirah is an awesome place. It can get crowded on weekends though. Please book in advance so you can get good seats at the restaurants. Weather is hot and humid now, so it would be nicer if you get inside, which would be more intimate and private from the hustle and bustle outside. You can also walk around the complex, and take the boat ride. It's a great place.
I have not been to the restaurant of which you mentioned, but I have heard from others it's a so-so place. If I were you, I would chose to go to some other restaurant there( don't try the Lebanese Times of Arabia...that was appallingly bad!) Read the review on www.timeoutdubai.com for Anar. If you are looking for a romantic place, there are loads of others restaurants here. That website is the best guide to restaurants here in Dubai. You can check that out.
